About
Slimvolume was established in 2000 as a publisher of an annual ‘Poster Publication’, a portfolio of loose bound prints that exists ‘privately as a publication and publicly as a street exhibition’. The recipients of this regular edition continue to be nominated by each issue’s contributing artists and its organiser.
In 2014, Slimvolume extended its reach to become a contemporary art press that commissions and promotes solo monographs, artists’ books, thematic readers, as well as editions and multiples. The organisation has a parallel events programme that combines publication launches with performances, film screenings and talks, as well as itinerant offsite projects.
